Movies

I know there was a thread like this on the other board, so I wanted to start one over here.

I'm about to go see Death Sentence with Kevin Bacon and Garrett Hedlund. I'm such a sucker for action movies. It got an 8% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but an 8.4 out of ten on IMDB, so who knows if its any good or not. I guess there is only one way to find out for myself.

What about you guys? Know of any good movies?

EDIT: Ok, I just realized how weird my post sounded. I'm not going to see it with Kevin Bacon and Garrett Hedlund, I'm going to see the movie STARRING Kevin Bacon and Garrett Hedlund. Yeah, I'm such an idiot.

Lol, it didn't sound weird to me! That's how you hear it in commercials sometimes. And actually come to think of it, that's how I usually say it.

I just watched 'On Golden Pond" yesterday. It was great. The old couple in it are EXACTLY like my parents. It's scary.

I want to watch the new Bourne one. It would be nice if I could get around to that before school starts though.

oh and I watched the simpsons movie a couple of weeks ago ...it could be better but it's okay

The new Bourne movie is AMAZING! I dare say it might be the best one yet. I didn't breathe for the last 3 minutes of the movie (If you see it, you'll know why).

My brother-in-law saw Halloween today and loved it. He said it was great and gory.

Well, Death Sentence was entertaining... my sister and I added our own dialogue for some of the scenes though. Its not that its a bad movie, it just gets pretty unbelievable towards the end. But the cars that the bad guys drive... oh my... I just might jump over to the dark side and become a gang member so that I can get a car like that. They sounded so beautiful, it brought a tear to my eye. But there was plenty of limbs being shot off and whatnot (it is from the director of the Saw movies) and some kick-ass action scenes, so I thought it was pretty good movie overall.

I second that! The Bourne Ultimatum was awesome!


I'm going to see the Nanny Diaries tonight. It's a bit of a chick flick but the advert looked funny enough.

That just makes me want to see the Bourne one more. No one ruin it though..
